Directory Disclaimer: IceGo is a tourism discovery directory for Iceland. Provider details should be confirmed with the provider directly before booking. IceGo does not process payments or act as a booking agent.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using IceGo ("the Directory", "the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. IceGo is operated as a tourism discovery directory for Iceland and is currently in active development.
2. Description of Service
IceGo is an online directory that lists tourism service providers operating in Iceland. The Service allows travelers to discover providers across categories including tours, accommodation, dining, adventure, marine activities, transport, photography, and wellness. IceGo acts as a directory only — it does not process bookings, payments, or act as an agent for any listed provider.
3. Directory Disclaimer
Provider information listed on IceGo is provided for discovery purposes only. IceGo does not verify, warrant, or guarantee the accuracy, completeness, licensing status, or safety compliance of any listed provider. Travelers are responsible for confirming provider details — including licensing, pricing, availability, and safety plans — directly with the provider before booking or engaging any service.
4. Provider Listings
Providers listed on IceGo may be submitted by the provider themselves or added by IceGo for directory completeness. IceGo reserves the right to remove, modify, or decline any listing at its sole discretion. Providers are responsible for ensuring their listing information is accurate and up to date.
5. User Conduct
You agree not to use the Service to: (a) submit false or misleading provider information; (b) scrape or harvest data without permission; (c) attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service; (d) use the Service for any unlawful purpose. IceGo reserves the right to suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms.
6. Intellectual Property
All content on IceGo — including text, design, code, and structure — is the property of IceGo or its licensors and is protected under applicable copyright law. Provider names, logos, and descriptions remain the property of the respective providers.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, IceGo shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service or reliance on any listed provider. IceGo is not a party to any transaction between travelers and providers.
8. Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using IceGo, you consent to the collection and use of information as described in the Privacy Policy.
9. Changes to Terms
IceGo reserves the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. The effective date of the current version is shown below.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Iceland, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Icelandic courts.
